Who knew the stars and stripes could be so sweet? This patriotic party favor project is easy to make and a surefire way to get all your 4th of July guests enjoying some flag-waving fun at your event.

Fold your cellophane bag horizontally in half so that it becomes a narrow strip. Staple the side closed opposite of the fold. Try to get the staple closest to the edge at the bottom. Then place another staple a few inches up, still closest to the edge as possible.

Place a few blue candies into the bag first. Use your own judgment as to how many you want.

Then put in 5 candy sticks, alternating between red and white.

Tie off the end securely to keep the candy in place. You may want to cut off any excess bag at the top.
