We wanted to add a little Christmas cheer to your holiday projects with our pinecone Christmas tree craft! It's the perfect beginner preschool and kindergarten holiday craft. However these cute Pine Cone Christmas Trees can be decorated with some finesse and used in your holiday village display too! Paint the pine cone green like a traditional Christmas tree or paint them white to resemble snow. Add a little glitter for some sparkle and get creative when you and your kids begin to decorate!

Paint the pine cones with green acrylic paint, allow to dry. You can dip the edges of the pine cone in paint or use the paint brush to cover each scale.

Using hot glue or white Elmer's® glue, dot the tip of each scale with glue and press the itty bitty pom-poms onto the glue dot. Repeat for each pine cone scale around your pine cone tree.

Glue a sparkling glitter pom-pom to the top of each Christmas tree pine cone. You can also cut a yellow star from craft foam and place on top of your tree! Try adding some colorful sequins and glitter for some added sparkle.
