As busy moms we always love creating simple, quick and delicious party foods. When it comes to kid-friendly and easy party foods, you simply can’t go wrong with marshmallow pops! For our recent Prima Ballerina Birthday Party , we wanted to create a girly and glamorous marshmallow pop that was sure to be a kid-pleasing and mom-easy treat. In under 10 minutes you can create these sugary sweet and tasty treats!
- Marshmallows
- Pink Melting Chocolate Wafers
- Pearl Sprinkles
Pour the pink melting chocolate wafers into a microwave safe bowl.
Melt chocolate in the microwave in 30 second increments. Be sure to stir the chocolate between heating cycles, and do not over-melt or your chocolate will stiffen up.
While the chocolate is melting, grab the Black Striped Paper Straws and press them into the base of the marshmallows to create the pops.
Once the chocolate is fully melted and creamy, swirl the bottom of the pop in the chocolate, coating it about 1/4 of the way up the marshmallow.
Place your pearl sprinkles into a small bowl and dip the pink chocolate covered marshmallows into the sprinkles.
Place the completed marshmallow pops onto a plate and then refrigerate for a couple of minutes to firm up the chocolate.
Display your marshmallow pops on a cake dish, wrap them up to-go in a cellophane bag, or find a unique way to highlight them at your event! We chose to place our marshmallow pops in jellybean-filled vases next to our DIY Prima Ballerina Cupcake Stand at our recent Prima Ballerina Birthday Party!
