When we were trying to think of the perfect dessert to serve at our recent Modern Mint, Pink and Gold Bridal Shower, it was hard to choose just one delicious sweet treat to whip up! We absolutely love our sweets and we thought why not indulge and serve up all of our favorite desserts in one amazing recipe! With ice cream, donuts, chocolate and sprinkles, how could you go wrong!?
- Pink Chocolate Melting Wafers
- Vanilla Ice Cream
- Green Mountain Mini Baked Donuts
- Sprinkles, Sprinkles and more Sprinkles
This recipe is so easy, you'll be enjoying a little bit of everything in just minutes! Start your Pink Chocolate Donut Ice Cream Sundae Recipe by inflating a few Light Pink Latex Balloons to about 5 inches in diameter. Place the balloons to the side until after you complete step 2.
Next, add the Pink Chocolate Melting Wafers into a microwave safe bowl and start to melt them, heating in 30 second increments until its smooth and creamy. Be sure to mix the chocolate in between heating.
Now, use one of your Light Pink Latex Balloons and dip it into the chocolate until its coated about half way up. Repeat this step for as many chocolate bowls as you desire.Place each balloon bowl onto wax paper in a cookie sheet and place into the refrigerator for a few minutes to firm up.
Once the chocolate is fully hardened, simply pop the balloons and remove the balloon pieces.
Now, scoop in your vanilla ice cream and top with sprinkles and Green Mountain Mini Baked Donuts!
Serve up on a Gold Dot Dessert Plate with a Candy Pink Plastic Spoon! We added fun Pink Pearl Beads and Mint Green Pearl Beads to our spoons for a chic look!
