Jello shots are a fun alternative to the standard way of serving shots, and when served in lemon slices they offer up a pretty presentation as well. As if they're cuteness alone wasn't appealing enough, they are easy peasy lemon squeezy to make which definitely makes them a win-win! Follow the steps below to wow your guests at your next party.
- 6 Lemons
- 2 Packets Unflavored Gelatin
- 1 c. Pink Lemonade
- 1/2 c. Vodka
- 1/2 c. Lemon Flavored Vodka
Cut your lemons in half and use a spoon to scoop the insides out.
Heat the pink lemonade in a pan over medium heat, and then pour in the gelatin packets, stirring quickly until dissolved. Add the lemonade and gelatin mixture to a bowl and pour in your vodka. Stir until combined.
Transfer the liquid into a pourable container.
Place the sliced lemon halves in a muffin tin so they stay upright. Fill each half with the liquid Jello mixture, and refrigerate for 2 hours, or until fully set.
Once the Jello has set, remove from the refrigerator and cut into smaller slices.
