This summer I became obsessed with Aperol Spritzes. They have a slight hint of orange and are so light and refreshing. To transition this classic drink into more of a winter cocktail, I created a version that combines the flavors of pomegranate and blackberry. This effervescent drink brings in the color of the season and is sure to spread cheer when you serve it to your guests during the holidays!
- 1 oz. Pomegranate Juice
- 1 oz. Sparkling Blackberry Juice
- 1 oz. Aperol
- 2 oz. Sparkling Rosé Wine
- 1 Tbsp. Frozen Pomegranate Seeds
In a clear patterned wine glass add 1 oz. sparkling blackberry juice. I used Izze® sparkling juice, however you could use a flavored sparkling water instead.
Next, add 1 oz. pomegranate juice.
Pop the bubbly and add 2-3 oz. of sparkling rosé wine.
Top off the glass with 1 oz. Aperol and stir to combine. Finish by adding ice and 1 Tbsp. frozen pomegranate seeds.
