Start by downloading the Free Popsicle Template Printable here and print on white cardstock using your home color printer, or a print shop. Trim each shape with scissors, ensuring that you trim close to the edge for a precise alignment, and handle the paper with care. Fold on the edges as shown, and cut a small slit at the base of the box, just wide enough to accommodate one wood craft stick, about three quarters of an inch wide.
Assemble each popsicle box using glue, and allow to dry. (Do not glue down the strip that bears the message, unless you do not plan to fill the box).
Fill the popsicle box with a small pinch of gold metallic shred, and add whatever small treats you would like. Watermelon bears wrapped in cellophane squares and secured with bright washi tape is a fun choice. So is a secret message to each party guest, from you!
Once you've filled each box, glue down the message strip to secure and display at each place setting.
