It's getting a bit chilly here. That can only mean one thing, winter is here! Ella and Annie have come up with a simple winter craft for kids of all ages. Our popsicle stick snowflakes are easy and fun to make. No paint is required, so there is less mess with these wood markers! Decorate beautiful popsicle stick snowflakes with your favorite craft supplies and hang with twine in your windows so you can admire them all winter long.

Snowflakes can be made with 3-4 popsicle sticks. Color each popsicle stick with the wood markers. Hot glue the popsicle sticks, one on top of the other to create the snowflake shape.

Peel the backing off the self-adhesive craft buttons and stick to the snowflake. You can add a dot of white glue for extra adhesive.

Educational Tip: have your students create color patterns with the buttons.

For the sequin snowflakes, add a dot of white glue and press the sequin into the glue. Combine the sequins and buttons for some beautiful snowflakes!

For the Christmas pipe cleaner snowflakes, bend each stem in half and cut. Twist 3 stems together at the center to create a snowflake. Slide holiday beads onto each end and bend the tips to hold the beads in place.
