When we were looking to create a delicious cocktail worthy of our Totally Awesome 80s Party, we knew that we needed something classic and fun to help set the mood at our party. This purple rain inspired berry Jell-O shot not only looks perfect in Neon Shot Glasses, but it also tastes amazing! You can create this 80s inspired shot with a few simple supplies and some tasty ingredients.
- Grape Jell-O®
- Vodka
- Chambord®
- Purple Sprinkles
- Corn Syrup
Start by following the instructions on the back of your Grape Jell-O® box. Add 1 cup boiling water to your gelatin packets and stir until completely dissolved.
Now that the gelatin is completely dissolved in the boiling water, add 1/2 cup of vodka and stir well.
Once you have included the vodka, it's time to add in some Chambord. Stir in a 1/2 cup of Chambord into your gelatin and vodka mixture until it is combined.
Coat the rims of your Neon Shot Glasses in a bit of corn syrup, then dip the cup into coarse, purple sprinkles to achieve a coated rim.
Add the Jell-O® and alcohol mixture to your Shot Glasses and cool for at least one hour before serving.
Pull your shots from the refrigerator.
