Whether you are hosting a St. Patrick's Day party or just want a fun after school treat you are sure to find gold, and lots of smiles, at the end of these fun and colorful Rainbow Donuts.
Cut each donut in half to create the arch for your rainbow.
Put similar colors of rock candy in a plastic bag and seal. Use a kitchen mallet to gently break the rock candy apart.
Use a knife and spread white icing on the donut.
Take pieces of the red broken up rock candy and begin placing it around the top part of the donut. Continue layering the rock candy in order of the rainbow colors.
Keep layering the rock candy until you have completed your rainbow.
Place the rainbow donut on a sky blue plate. Use white candy filled straws to create the fluffy white clouds.
Finally, add a few gold coins at the end of the colorful rainbow donut.
