Welcome fall by making Red Apple OREO Balls. No-bake cute and easy back to school treats are easy to make for your kids or gifts for teachers! Deliciously simple OREO cheesecake balls dipped in red melted candy with a pretzel stick for a stem and tasty palm leaf gummies for leaves. Presented in Buffalo plaid mini pails with chalkboard printable tags makes a sweet gift for teachers or party dessert!

- 1 Package of OREO Cookies
- 8 oz. Cream Cheese
- 1 Package Red Candy Melts
- Pretzel Sticks
- Palm Leaf Gummies
Print the chalkboard gift tags, then cut and trim. Attach tags to a paper straw with a glue dot and stick to the inside of a small Buffalo plaid pails. Line the pail with parchment paper. Set aside.
Crush OREO cookies in a food processor.
Add cream cheese into processor with crushed cookies and mix well.
Open packages of palm leaf gummy candy to gather the dark green leaf candy. Then break the tip off of a dozen pretzel sticks, making them shorter apple stems. Set aside.
Roll cookie mixture into 1" balls, mold into an apple shape and add a pretzel stick to the top. Place on a pan covered with parchment paper and freeze for 10-20 minutes.
While the OREO balls are hardening. Melt the candy in a small glass bowl. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring until fully melted.
Remove cookie balls from freezer, and gently dip into the melted candy. Use a knife or spoon scoop some melted candy over the top of the cookie ball being careful not to cover the pretzel.
Gently tap the apple so the candy smooths out. Place on parchment paper and add a gummy leaf to your apple.
Continue until all OREO balls are covered. Store apple treats in the refrigerator until ready to serve or give as back to school gifts.
Place a few apples in each pail and sprinkle the extra gummy leaves around to cover the parchment paper.
