Now that our front porch has a dazzling patriotic makeover we can’t wait to spend lots of time out here, and there is nothing better than catching up with friends, watching the kids play and enjoying a refreshing beverage. These Red, White and Blue Mint Fizz cocktails are the perfect patriotic drink for your summer celebrations. This simple cocktail looks pretty, taste delicious and is refreshing on a hot summer day. In less than 10 minutes you can whip up a few of these for friends and head to the front porch for a relaxing afternoon in the shade.
- 1 Bottle Blueberry Vodka
- 1 Can Lemon Flavored Sparkling Water
- 1 Container Fresh Blueberries
- 1 Sliced Lemon
- 1 Bunch Mint
Put a handful of blueberries in the bottom of the stemless wine glass. Muddle the blueberries with a wood muddler or a fork. Make sure the blueberries are nice and mashed up.
Pour 2 oz. of the blueberry vodka into the glass.
Fill the glass 3/4 of the way full with ice cubes and pour the lemon flavored sparkling water over the ice. I like the SanPellegrino Limonata, it's one of my favorite sparkling drinks, but it is especially good with the combination of blueberries and vodka.
Garnish with a blueberry patriotic fruit kabob, lemon wheel and mint.
