Turn these DIY Wood Resurrection Cross Ornaments into beautiful personalized place cards for your Easter meal in a few simple steps. Paint with craft paint, add gold leaf, and finish with a name using vinyl letters or handwritten lettering. These place cards are especially nice when paired with these Painted Floral Luncheon Napkins as part of my Faith Based Easter Table. These place cards make a great keepsake for your Easter guests to take home with them!
Carefully remove the gold string hanger from the DIY Wood Resurrection Cross Ornaments. Paint with acrylic craft paint and a foam brush. I used light pink and light greenish blue paint to coordinate with the rest of the decor of my Faith Based Easter Table.
Carefully add gold leaf adhesive to the middle cross with a small brush. Be sure not to get adhesive on other parts of the ornament. Once the adhesive is tacky, press a gold leaf sheet onto the cross. Use a small brush to remove excess gold leaf.
Add a name to the bottom of each ornament using gold vinyl letters from a cutting machine or small gold stickers. You could also hand write the letters with a gold pen.
Reinsert the gold string hanger into the ornament. Place the ornament at each place setting of your Easter table. Be sure to check out the other details of the Faith-Based Easter Table including the Rejoice Easter Centerpiece and He Has Risen Easter Wreath.
