Our Valentine's Day Family Brunch at Cupid's Diner is all about combining whimsical diner-inspired elements with fun Valentine food puns. To make this pairing a waffle lot of fun, I created a Diner Order Stand. This unique and themed table centerpiece holds 6 different guest checks. Each guest check is designed with a witty food pun as well as an adorable food illustration.
Start by hot gluing one Clothespin in the center of each of the 6 sides of a DIY Unfinished Wood Large Hexagon Wall Décor. Each clothespin should open downward. This is how the guest checks will hang onto the stand.
Next, cut small pieces of white paper the width of each clothespin. Place one piece of paper in each of the 6 clothespins. This will keep the clothespins from becoming stuck shut in the following painting step.
Paint the entire hexagon and clothespins with white spray paint. Allow paint to fully dry.
Flip the hexagon upside down and hot glue the tallest pillar in the White Candle Holder Set in the center of the hexagon. Allow glue to dry and set fully then flip the entire stand right side up.
Now it's time to add yarn pom-poms! You'll need Red Yarn Pom-Poms and Light Blue Yarn Pom-Poms. Using the large pom-poms, and alternating colors of red and blue pom-poms to the stand. Hot glue each pom-pom around the top perimeter of the entire hexagon shape.
Using the smaller pom-poms, again alternating red and blue, hot glue 3 pom-poms vertically on each of the 6 edges of the hexagon.
Print all 6 guest check printables and clip one into each clothespin. Your order stand is now complete! Display in the center of your table at your Cupid's Diner Valentine's Day Family Brunch!
