I hosted the cutest Pirate Playdate for some very adorable 6 year olds. This pirate treat … Rough Seas Jello … was a hit! The kids loved the bright blue raspberry jello, marshmallow jello, and Cool Whip®! It was so easy to make the perfect treat for these little pirates! I'm excited to share this fun, easy to make, recipe with you!
- 2 Packages Blue Raspberry Jello (6 oz. each)
- 1 Small Bag Miniature Marshmallows
- 1 Small Container of Cool Whip®
- 2 or 3 Oranges
- 4 c. Boiling Water
- 2 c. Cold Water
- Goldfish Crackers
- Clear Plastic Cups
Light Blue Marshmallow Portion: Add one 6 oz. package of Jello to a bowl. Then add a bag of mini marshmallows.
Pour in 2 cups boiling water. Stir until all the powder is dissolved and the marshmallows are almost melted.
Next, pour in 2 cups cold water. Pour into a 9x13 baking dish. Place in refrigerator for 3 hours.
To create the Clear Blue Jello Portion: Add one 6 oz. package of Jello to a bowl. Pour in 2 cups boiling water.
Stir until all the powder is dissolved. Then pour in 2 cups cold water.
Pour into a 9x13 baking dish. Place in refrigerator for 3 hours.
After the jello is set, use an ice cream scoop to add the jello into your cups. Start with a layer of your marshmallow jello, and then add the clear blue jello. Continue layering until you have almost reached the top.
Add a spoonful of Cool Whip® to the top of your jello. Place a shark lollipop or Orange Ship with a Pirate Flag on top of the Cool Whip®. Sprinkle Goldfish Crackers around your jello cup for added cuteness!
