If you're looking for a simple project you can do for your wedding day, I've got just the thing for you today! Details really make a wedding shine, and you don't need to spend a ton of time or money to create some really unique items to personalize your day. Since rustic style weddings are still incredibly popular, I thought I'd show you three different ways to make a rustic ring bearer box for the tiniest member of your wedding party. I've broken each project down to include the items you'll need! Check them out below! First up is a White Rustic Ring Bearer Box with a Wooden Heart! Rustic Ring Bearer Box, WhiteWhat you'll need:Step 1: Paint your Wooden Trinket Box using your foam brush and white acrylic paint. Set aside and allow to dry. Step 2: Once your paint is dry, use sand paper to distress your box. Focus on sanding down the edges, corners, and a little bit all over to give your box a more rustic look. Step 3: Use wood glue to adhere your raw wooden heart to the top of your box. And voila! A sweet rustic ring bearer box! So darling, right? Next up, I created a Watercolor Stained Ring Box covered with Lace. What you'll need:Step 1: Use your watercolor set to paint your wooden box. I used a mixture of brown and black paints to get the color of my box. If you wet the wood with your paintbrush first, it helps the color go onto the wood in a lighter coating. This allows you to "build" the color up as little or as much as you'd like to reach your desired effect. Step 2: After your box is dry, you can apply your lace. The white lace really pops on the natural wood tone I created with the watercolor stain. Place your lace around the lid of your box and cut it to size. Step 3: Use a foam brush to add a coat of Mod Podge to your box, then press your lace onto the box and set aside to dry.

Voila! A Watercolor-Stained Ring Bearer Box!

Last, but not least, is the Rustic Ring Bearer Box with Scrabble Tiles! What you'll need:Step 1: Paint your Wooden Trinket Box using your foam brush and brown acrylic paint. Set aside and allow to dry. Step 2: Once your paint is dry, use sand paper to distress your box. Focus on sanding down the edges, corners, and a little bit all over to give your box a more rustic look. Step 3: Use your sand paper to sand down the backsides of your letter tiles. This will help them adhere better with the wood glue. Step 4: Use your fingers to place your letters on your box lid. I chose the letters, L-O-V-E. Cute, right? Allow your glue to settle and voila! Another super cute rustic ring bearer box!! So now I've shown you three different ways to decorate your own DIY Rustic Ring Bearer Box. Which one is your favorite? But what about the inside? Fear not! I've got an idea for that, too! Here's what you can do on the inside of your box: What you'll need: Cut your burlap into a strip that's about 2.75" wide. Then fold the strip into thirds and place it gently into your box. Next, you'll stitch your ribbon to attach it to your burlap. Finally, you can tie the rings onto the ribbon and tie into a bow and use your scissors to trim the excess ribbon. I just love these beautiful ring bearer boxes, and I hope that they inspire you to take on this simple project for your own big day! These would make a sweet keepsake box to use in your home after the big day, too! Hope you enjoyed this project -- happy planning!
