I always say if you’re going to make one thing to decorate for the holidays, it should be a wreath! While you’re at it, why not make one that will wow your neighbors, like this stunning ombre floral Easter egg wreath! With just a few supplies, you can make a one-of-a-kind wreath that you won’t find in the stores.
Wrap the wreath form with paper streamers (I used pink) by securing the starting end with a dab of hot glue and then pulling taut and overlapping the streamers as you wrap them around. Finish with another dab of hot glue. For a sturdier covering you can use a thick ribbon instead of the paper streamers.
Start adding plastic eggs to the wreath with a generous dab of hot glue. Mix up the colors and positions of the eggs for a random effect. Make sure to add eggs to the inside and outside edges of the wreath as well! Keep the wreath flat on a table as you add eggs so that the eggs don’t extend past the back of the wreath form, ensuring the finished wreath will lay flat against a door or wall.
Cut your artificial flowers from their stems using a wire cutter. Leave an inch of the stem at the end of the bloom. This will make it easy to poke it into the wreath form.
Add your flowers to the wreath by poking them straight into the foam. No glue needed! Use the flowers to fill in any gaps between the eggs, scattering them around the wreath until you get the look you want. A mix of rosebuds, cherry blossoms, and pussy willow and around 75 plastic eggs create the lush look of this wreath!

TIP: This is a delicate wreath so I recommend using it on a covered porch or keeping it indoors. It would look great over a mantel!
