Celebrate the holidays this year with a fun Christmas craft for kids that features one of the most iconic Christmas movies ever - A Charlie Brown Christmas! One of my favorite scenes in this beloved movie is when Snoopy decorates his dog house. Kids can decorate their own dog house just like Snoopy, then place the finished craft in their bedroom or give it as a gift! This Snoopy's dog house craft makes the perfect Christmas party activity during a Charlie Brown Christmas Party.
Assemble the plastic gingerbread house. Spray paint the entire dog house red, then set aside to dry.
String mini glitter ornaments on a piece of baker's twine, one at a time. Tie a knot to hold each ornament in place. Use a glue gun to glue the ends of the ornament strand onto the dog house.
Cut a piece of boxwood leaf ribbon and wrap it into a circle to form a mini wreath. Trim off the end and glue the wreath in place on the dog house. Use the small yellow ornament foam stickers to decorate the wreath.
Glue a foam Charlie Brown onto the right side of the dog house front. Glue a green tree to the left of Charlie Brown. Glue foam presents around the base of the tree and around Charlie Brown's feet.
Display your amazing Snoopy dog house as a fun, unique Christmas decoration! The dog house was the perfect craft activity for kids at our Charlie Brown Christmas Party! Make sure to see how you can set up your own Peanuts Themed Food Bar and let kids make Peanuts Snow Globe Crafts too!
