Do you want to build a snowman? We do! Our snowman collage art activity will be endless fun for kids of all ages. Create silly faced snowmen, snow-women with style or an entire family of snowmen! Decorate your snowmen with buttons, colorful sequins, googly eyes, and rickrack ribbon. I highly recommend investing in a set of circle punches in various sizes; we use them all the time and it made prepping our snowmen fast and easy!
We used various sized circle punches to cut out the circles for the snowmen. You can also trace circles on white card stock paper and cut them out. Stack the three sized circles, one on top of the other and glue into place.
Glue on a orange itty bitty pom pom for the snowman's nose. Add two self-adhesive googly eyes on for the snowman's eyes. You can also draw eyes with a black mini marker and make tiny circles for the mouth.
Use a brown mini marker to draw the stick arms. Cut a small piece of the rickrack ribbon for the snow-woman's scarf. Glue three holiday buttons or stick the self-adhesive jewels to the snow-women's body. Cut a small half oval shape from construction paper to make the beanie. Attach a cute glitter pom pom to the top of the beanie. Add a decorative trim to the beanie using self-adhesive rhinestones.
Repeat step 3 to create your snowman. Add buttons or self-adhesive rhinestones for the boy snowmen, cut two rectangles from black construction paper to make the hat. Draw the stick arms with brown mini marker and mouth with a black marker. You now have an entire snowman family!
