The holidays are coming and with it the season of sweet holiday treats! One of my favorite things to do this time of year is bake cookies and other sweet treats for the holidays. This year, I'm going to surprise my kids these Snowman Marshmallow Pops that are easy to make and look awesome! Wrap some of these up in clear cellophane bags and you can even give them as gifts or classroom treats.
Insert one bamboo fork (or toothpick) down into the center of a jumbo marshmallow.
Place one of the medium-sized marshmallows down onto the bamboo fork until it is sitting right on top of the jumbo marshmallow.
Using the icing as glue, squeeze some icing onto the top of a medium-sized marshmallow and place a snowman candy decoration right on top of it. Press it down and hold it for a minute so it sticks together. Once it's stuck together, push it down gently onto the top of the bamboo fork.
Make the snowman's hat by squeezing some icing on top of an OREO cookie then placing a medium-sized marshmallow on top. Squeeze some icing on the top of the snowman's head and press the cookie hat gently down onto the snowman until it sticks.
Make a few black buttons or a tie using a black decorator icing writer pen.
Now you can serve your Snowman Marshmallow Pops a few ways. You can serve these sitting flat on a long white platter filled with mini marshmallows.
If you want to serve them lollipop-style, gently insert a red striped paper straw into the bottom of the snowman. Twist the straw as you push it up into the bottom of the jumbo marshmallow. These need to be served right away or you can place each one in a cellophane bag and secure the end with a twist tie to give as gifts.
