For a multi-family Snow Day Brunch, food that everyone loves was a must. Pancakes were an easy decision but rather than just serve them in stacks, I decided to make them fun for the kids and serve Snowman Pancakes. With a few simple ingredients, a table full of edible snowmen were born.
Start by mixing up the batter, getting the plates ready, and seating each child. I made the pancakes and kept them in between two plates to stay warm. I didn’t want to keep those hungry little hands waiting!
Heat precooked bacon in the microwave. I like doing this because you don't have to clean up a mess and there's no lingering smell afterwards. Give each child two pancakes, two chocolate chips, a strip of bacon, and a handful of marshmallows.
Make the first snowman pancake yourself to show the kids what they should be making. Afterwards just let their creativity run wild! Be sure to check out the entire Snow Day Brunch as well as how to make your own Snowman Donuts.
