Set the scene for a Winter Princess Birthday Party or any winter celebration with these Sparkling Tree Centerpieces! These pretties come straight from nature and are embellished with some paint, glitter, crystals, and snowflakes to make them winter ready. In less than half an hour you can have your own set of these stunning tree branch decorations by following this simple tutorial.
Find two dead or fallen tree branches that are approximately the same size and the right height for your party setup. Trim off any branches that look too messy with hedge trimmers.
Spray paint the branches with white spray paint using multiple light coats. Be sure to paint all angles of the branches so that there is no brown showing.
While the last coat of white paint is wet, sprinkle some iridescent glitter over the branches to add some snowy sparkle. Add Mod Podge with a foam brush to areas of the tree branches where you want more glitter and sparkle. Immediately shake the glitter over each area you add Mod Podge to and let dry completely.
Fill two large galvanized pails with sand. Place each dried branch into the sand so that it's standing nice and straight. Add some cotton stuffing over the sand so that it looks like the tree is sitting in a bed of fresh snow.
Hang pretty crystals from the tree branches. Add some snowflake ornaments and hang them from the branches too.
