As the temperatures outside begin to slowly warm up, all I can think about is cheerful spring plants and colors! I love being able to recreate those seasonal decor in my home, on a table or set out on display for a party. I'll share how to make your very own Spring Birdhouse Home Decor table setting using the most adorable wooden Bird House Planter Sticks. Let's get started on this birdhouse craft idea!
Start by taping off your Wooden Planter Box with some washi tape. I created 4 variously sized lines and painted them in cheery spring colors of peach, red and orange.
Next, I painted just the roof line and the stick of my Wood Birdhouse Planter sticks. I used a pretty shade of deep moss green acrylic paint.
Next, fill your wooden planter box with styrofoam or floral foam and pour a generous layer of Mod Podge® on the top. Using various sized green beads and glitter, cover the foam to mimic grass.
Once you have covered the foam with green beads and glitter, you can push the wooden birdhouses into place. I made sure to vary the height just a little bit from house to house.
For the final colorful touch, secure pink pinwheels to the backside of your wooden planter with hot glue for the perfect backdrop.
