When we were planning our recent pink and navy inspired wedding we knew we wanted to create a unique and feminine place card table full of pink, navy and gold elements. With a custom faux floral garland, one of a kind place card favors and a free printable sign, this place card station has everything you need to help guests find their seats in style! With our step by step tutorial you can create this luxe look for your wedding!
Start by laying a Navy Striped Table Runner and a bright pink fabric on your table for an elegant and soft look.
Next, create your custom greenery backdrop. Start by suspending some Square Boxwood Mats from 3M hooks. Then, using quite a bit of hot glue, adhere the Mr. & Mrs. Gold Calligraphy Chair Signs to the boxwood mats.
Now that the greenery portion of the backdrop is complete, it's time to mix in some faux florals. Slide some white tissue flowers from the Tissue Flower Bouquet. No need to glue these flowers as they can easily slide through the backdrop to remain in place.
Next, create a custom DIY Flower Box Centerpiece by stenciling "Mr. & Mrs." on the front of the box using DIY Calligraphy Stencils and some white acrylic paint.
Next, fill the diy flower box centerpiece with cascading flowers and greenery including Faux Wisteria, Roses, Faux Eucalyptus Stems, Pink Rosebuds, Faux Succulents and Frosted Greenery Stems.
Add and extra florals to your table. Our table had a drawer to which we added more Faux Wisteria, Roses, Faux Eucalyptus Stems, Pink Rosebuds, Faux Succulents and Frosted Greenery Stems for a bright, spring-like look.
Once you've set up the basis for the place card station, get ready to create your place cards. Fill Gold Base Bud Vases with a bit of cold water. Add a sprig of Faux Eucalyptus to each bud vase.
Next, create the place card by trimming spare Simple Stripe Wedding Stationary into a small rectangle. Use the Pastel Paper Pack to trim up a slightly smaller pink rectangle so the striped stationary serves as framing around the pink paper. Using a Sharpie® marker, add each guests name and table number to the place card. With a bit of hot glue, secure the place card to a gold wooden skewer and insert it into the Gold Base Bud Vases.
Consider adding some champagne to your place card station so guests can grab some bubbly while they pick up their place cards. Add a chic ribbon bow to each Champagne Flute for an extra touch of elegance.
Display extra champagne on the table for refills. Don't forget to add a personal touch with some Personalized Simple Stripe Favor Stickers and a pink ribbon bow.
Be sure to add some customized Wedding Monogram Napkins for guests to pick up along with their drinks and place cards.
