I love the bright colors of spring! This "Take Flight with Fact Families" bulletin board not only showcases the beauty of spring, but is also a great way to display student work. The Fact Family Butterfly Crafts are the focal point of this bulletin board while the pops of color from the background and double borders bring everything together for a fun, engaging bulletin board.
To make this "Take Flight with Fact Families" bulletin board, I started by putting Pacon® Fadeless® Light Blue Bulletin Board Paper Roll on the back of the bulletin board. I wanted it to resemble the bright blue sky of spring so it would look like the butterflies were flying in the sky.
I love the way double borders look on bulletin boards. For this one I chose to layer the Painted Palette™ Rainbow Paint Chip Border with Yellow Scalloped Bulletin Board Borders. I put the yellow border behind the paint chip border so it would pop off of the blue background.
I wanted my title to stand out amid all of the beautiful colors on the bulletin board, so I chose black and white lettering. I used the Fancy Black Bulletin Board Letters & Numbers to make the "Take Flight with Fact Families" title of the bulletin board. I needed 2 packs of the letters in order to have 3 uppercase letter Fs.
The last thing I did on the bulletin board was attach the Fact Family Butterfly Crafts all around the board. You can read how to make these HERE. I love how this springtime bulletin board turned out!
