You can never have enough serving trays especially when it comes to entertaining! This pretty patterned green washi tape tray is the perfect addition to a St. Patrick's Day party. Use it to provide a festive drink to your guests such as green beer served in these fun cups. After the holiday, you can repurpose your tray in your home decor. It is just the right size for corralling small objects like a vase or keys.
Paint the tray white using acrylic craft paint and a foam brush. Let dry completely.
Decorate the base of the tray with patterned green washi tape by adding one strip at a time and using a craft knife to trim. Slightly overlap each row of tape to prevent any gaps and help the tape lay flat. I alternated between the three patterns in this green washi tape pack.
Add a strip of gold glitter washi tape around the outside of the tray. You can add a small dab of hot glue to the beginning and end of the washi tape to secure it more permanently if you want.
Seal the base of the tray by covering the washi tape with an even thin layer of glossy Mod Podge.
Use your new tray to serve green beer in festive cups to your St. Patrick's Day party guests! This washi tape tray can be repurposed and used year round.
