Sugar Plum Fairy Party DIY Decorations

When choosing decor for my little girl’s Christmas holiday Sugar Plum Fairy Party, I wanted it to feel light, fresh, pink and pretty–just like the real sugar plum fairy. I started by choosing the color palette–a slew of pastels–made easy by this pastel candy buffet selection. Immediately after seeing the amazing array of suckers and goodies, my mind went to a candy bouquet for the table–but a kid-friendly version. Here's how it's done!

I used pink tullewhite glitter tulle and these sweet tulle flowers

I layered the pink tulle and the white glitter tulle until the roll ran out. Then I tied small strips of pink tulle and evenly spaced it along the garland.

I then used a hot glue gun to attach a couple flowers to each knot.

I hung it using command strip hooks. So simple.

Finally I used these Fluffy Snowball Garlands, layered with Snowflake Ornaments, and then layered again with a little Nutcracker Ornament above the other two windows. I also hung the snowflake ornaments on the chandelier.

The combination was perfectly magical for this group of giggly ballerinas–or should I say Sugar Plum Fairies in training…
