Summer is the time to spend every single moment outdoors if you can! And thankfully there are so many outside occasions once the weather warms up. There are barbecues, picnics, afternoons spent at parks and all those fun family reunions! And if you are looking for a great activity, what better thing to enjoy during those outdoor times than a colorful Summer Tic Tac Toe Game. Learn how you can customize your game, below!
The first thing to do on this project is measure out the exact size of each X and O on your tic tac toe board. Using a pencil, ruler and scissors cut out gorgeous Scrapbook paper accordingly.
Once all your scrapbook pieces are cut out, it is time to glue them down to the game board with a hot glue gun. I glued the paper to all of the X's.
I poured my paint colors in an easy to clean paint palette and using a pretty rose color and a blue acrylic paint, I then painted the O's. Once those were dry, I also painted the outer edges of the tic tac toe game in the corresponding paint color.
Next, using a cotton swab for each color, I painted sweet little polka dots on a natural canvas drawstring bag. This bag is perfect for holding and transporting your game.
And what perfect way to use this fun Summer game than to spread out a plastic Blue Gingham tablecloth, grab your Blue sunglasses and get to playing!
