For my Tiffany’s Inspired Bridesmaid Luncheon I knew I wanted a ton of sparkle. And what better way to get sparkle than with glitter! If there’s one thing I really enjoy creating, it’s simple DIYs; projects that make a big statement without a huge amount of effort or money! If you want to add a little extra pizazz to your parties and events, there’s no better way than to apply a little glitz and glamour! I know, I know… glitter gets everywhere, but that’s half the fun, right? The best part of this project is that you can easily use this method on any type of plasticware and you can customize the glitter color to suit your party! The possibilities are endless!
Start with your unassembled martini glasses and grab the number of bottoms / stands you’ll need for your gathering. Using a Foam Paint Brush, spread a thin layer of matte Mod Podge over the top of your Martini bases.
Once you’ve got a good coating on your bases, pour your Silver Glitter over each one.
Once you’ve gotten enough glitter over your bases, place your finger inside the hole in the top to help lift it up. Shake and tile the base around to make sure the entire surface is covered with glitter, and shake off any excess. Allow to dry fully, at least 30 minutes. Once the bases are dry, feel free to assemble your martini glasses, fill up with a drink, and serve! I just love how festive these glasses are with very minimal effort! How fab do they look?
I’d love you to make these simple sparkly glasses for your next party or event! Can’t wait to see what colors you choose.
