As a major party enthusiast, I have an absolute and crazy obsession with honeycombs! Square, circle, triangle or diamond…they are all my favorite. I try to incorporate them into my parties as often as I can. I love to hang them, place them around dessert tables or use them as centerpieces. I used oodles of circle honeycombs in my Strawberry Party, but saw the Diamond Tissue Paper Hanging Decorations and knew I had to turn them into Strawberry Honeycombs!
Take a sheet of Green Tissue Paper and fold it in half. Fold the Green Tissue Paper in an accordion fashion.
Using a Sharpie, draw a ‘strawberry stem’ template like this.
Cut the template.
Unfold the ‘stem’ and fan into a circle.
Staple the tissue fan closed.
Open the Diamond Tissue Paper Hanging Decorations and staple the green tissue ‘strawberry stem’ to the top. I had to staple in a few places to secure the stem.
Hang your newly create Tissue Paper Strawberries above a dessert table, place around the floor around your Strawberry Party or use as a fabulous centerpiece!
