It's Halloween, and everyone—and everything—deserves a creative costume, even a cardboard craft roll or simple toilet paper roll. Bring this simple, classic, and versatile craft supply to life with materials from your stash—paint, felt, chenille stems and googly eyes. It's amazing how many disguises you can craft for such a simply shaped object. You can create a whole neighborhood cast of Halloween characters, fit for the best decorated mantle on the block.
These ladies bring a new meaning to "witchcraft." Paint your craft roll green and let dry. Fringe a strip of felt and glue to the front as hair (don't forget to cut bangs!). Cut a 2-inch circle from black felt and glue it to the top of the tube, just above the hair. Roll a piece of black felt into a 1.5-inch cone and glue to the top of the black circle. Draw on a face with markers and add black felt strips to the bottom as the witch's cloak. Glue on thin strips of felt to make arms. Add these witches to a table or shelf for a fun Halloween decoration.
