A black tie moody fall masquerade wedding calls for a stunning decorative piece that will fit into a formal wedding design. This stylish charcoal colored felt hat is wrapped in black lace, then embellished with faux realistic ivory roses and black ostrich feathers.
Wrap a three foot length of black lace ribbon to the outer perimeter of a tall grey hat. Trim to desired length with scissors.
Separate greenery into an assortment of leaves and berry sprigs, these will be placed into your decoration by hand.
Insert a black ostrich feather vertically, beneath the black lace ribbon. If your ribbon is tied securely, you won't need adhesive to hold the feathers in place.
Using hot glue, arrange and adhere the greenery to your liking along the side of the hat, as shown.
Apply hot glue to an Hermes ivory rose head, and apply firmly to the center of the greenery, holding in place until fully adhered.
Add additional roses and greenery, and accent with small sprigs of greenery.
