Bold colors and jazzy geometric shapes come together to create a high impact, low budget backdrop that’s the perfect scene-setter for our Bohemian Tribal Teepee Party. This pretty project is great for crafters of all ages. If you can tie a knot, you can make this beautiful party accent!
Assemble each full package of the triangle boxes according to instructions, but reserving the enclosed ribbons for a future project.
Using a ruler, and one of the lengths of twine, measure in four inches from the end, and lace on a hot pink triangle box, securing with a knot.
Measure 4 inches from the tie point of the pink box, and lace on a turquoise triangle box with a knot. Measure another four inches from that point, and lace on a gold triangle box, also knotting.
Continue lacing and knotting boxes 4 inches from the last, and repeating the pattern, until you cannot add more. Tie one white ostrich feather to the end of the chain. Repeat with the other five lengths.
Creating a hanger by knotting the grosgrain ribbon to each end of the pole.
Tie the chains you created to the pole by the loose ends, and secure with knots. Be sure to evenly space them about 6″ apart from each side, and one another.
Suspend the completed project by the grosgrain ribbon hanger. You can hang it from a nail, a tree, or a backdrop structure. This is a perfect party backdrop for our Bohemian Tribal Inspired Teepee Party for girls!
