Hello there, Sunshine! This easy Tropical DIY Hello Sign is the perfect addition to any entryway. With its bright colors and tropical leaves, this sign will bring a fun pop of color to your day. Make one to hang on your wall by your front door or create one to prop on an entryway shelf.
Using a Sponge Paintbrush and acrylic paint, dry brush a DIY Wood Plank Sign in a light aqua color and allow to dry.
Peel the plastic veins off of a few Medium Polyester Palm Leaves.
Spray adhesive onto the back of the leaves and adhere them to the front of the painted wood plank sign making sure to leave the middle of the sign free of leaves.
Use a small piece of waxed paper to smooth down the leaves. Cut off the excess leaves that are hanging off the sign.
Spray paint a Large Galvanized Metal Hello Cutout with gold spray paint. Use hot glue or E6000® to adhere the cutout to the front of the wood sign.
Use hot glue to lightly adhere wood beads onto Bamboo Skewer. This makes the wood beads easier to paint. Paint the beads using a flat bristled paint brush and acrylic paint.
Once the beads are dry, string them along with Colorful Tassel Charms onto a length of jute cording. Glue the ends of the jute cording to the back of the wood sign, allowing the beaded garland to drape across the top of the sign.
