Skip the flowers and go with this heart-filled Valentine's Day bouquet that will never wilt instead! This simple DIY centerpiece is made with a combination of mini wood hearts and plush hearts along with some faux greenery nestled in mason jars. Displayed in a wood planter box, it makes for the sweetest piece of Valentine's Day décor or a perfect gift for someone special!
Paint the wood planter box with red acrylic craft paint and a foam brush.
Paint several wood hearts with pink and red acrylic craft paint. Glue three of them onto the front of the wood planter box with hot glue.
Cut a length of floral wire in half with wire cutters and glue to the back of a wood heart with hot glue. Sandwich another painted wood heart on top.
Bend the stem of the plush hearts so they are at various heights to fit in a pint mason jar. You can also cut the white product tags from the hearts and trim the ribbons shorter if you like to pretty them up! Cut sprigs of the frosted greenery from the bunch using wire cutters.
Add three mason jars to the painted wood planter box and arrange the plush hearts, wood heart picks, and greenery to the jars, varying the height to create a lush display.
