Boho meets modern elegance with this unique teal velvet ribbon & blush floral seating chart. The rich jewel tone geode place cards set against the velvet create an eye-catching display that will wow your guests. Even better, this seating chart is cost effective and simple to make. Just follow the steps below and learn how to create this stunning Velvet & Floral Hoop Seating Chart.
Put together the Wire Frame Hanging Hoop as per the enclosed instructions.
Exception: You only need to attach one of the 3 chains provided. The remaining 2 are not required.
Prepare the name cards for the seating charts. Slice / cut the "Thank You" off the end of the Personalized Geode Thank You Cards.
Next, I used my Cricut to cut the name and table number of each guest and stick onto each card. Alternatively you can write the names on yourself, have a calligrapher write them, use alphabet stickers or rub-on letters.
Cut lengths of velvet ribbon, to fit the hoop. Tie the ribbon to each end of the hoop, creating strips of velvet. I created 3, you could create 4-5 on this size hoop.
Next attach the cards to the velvet ribbon with Glue Dots. Evenly space them down the length of the ribbon.
Create three bouquets of flowers. Two side bouquets with longer lengths of ferns fronds and one central bouquet with larger blooms. I used Peony & Hydrangea Bouquets and a selection of pink hydrangea, viburnum and dahlia.
Tie the side bouquets on either side of the top hanging point of the hoop using floral wire. Use as much wire as needed as the central bouquet will cover the wire wrap. Start from the top and have them flowing down around the hoop.
Lastly tie the central bouquet into the middle of these bouquets. Add additional blooms one by one to cover gaps.
Finally, attach the chain to the top of the hoop. Thread the chain onto the provided hook. Use this to hang the large hoop to the wall. I hung mine on a command hook. Straighten and adjust as necessary.
