Fall is here and that means crisp autumn air, sweaters and warm, comforting food! Apples and pumpkin spice tend to be everyones favorite this time of year and this Warm Apple Spice Cake should be no exception. With only a few ingredients this spice infused bunt cake can be made and served in under an hour. Your home will smell amazing as well!
- Spice Cake Mix
- Eggs, Water and Oil Called For On The Box Instructions
- 2 Medium Gala, Honey Crisp or Granny Smith Apples
- 1/2 C. Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 C. Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. Milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and generously spray a bunt pan with cooking spray. Make cake mix according to directions on the package.
In a medium bowl mix together 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon together. Peel and core both apples. Dice each apple into small cubes and toss in sugar mixture. Fold into the cake mix and evenly pour into bunt pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until center is cooked through. Let the cake cool for 20 minutes in the pan then invert onto Wood Patterned Cake Stand.
In a small bowl mix together powdered sugar, remaining cinnamon and milk. Drizzle over cake and serve.
