A whiskey bar is a lovely and elegant addition to a wedding reception. Invite guests to sip whiskey on the rocks. Provide cocktail mixers and garnishes so they can mix up an Old Fashioned or a classic Manhattan. Or, for winter weddings provide a classic "Hot Toddy". A warm whiskey cocktail for your wedding whiskey bar to keep you warm on a chilly winter night. Enjoy it fireside, a guaranteed crown pleaser! I served this at my Tartan & Tulle Winter Wedding and the guests just couldn't get enough!
- Hot Water
- 1 Tsp Fine Brown Sugar

Prepare the garnish in advance. Peel a lemon and cut a slice of the rind approx 1 1/2 inches long.

If the stalks of the cloves will not punch through the lemon rind use a knife to start a small hole and push the clove through the hole.

Add the brown sugar and stir to dissolve.
Add 1/4 ounce of lemon juice and stir
Add the whiskey and stir a final time.
Place the lemon and clove garnish on the edge of the glass and serve on a Buffalo Plaid Beverage Napkin.
