Make your bar cart vignette a true focal point with framed handmade watercolor art! Scroll on to find out how to use watercolor paints and paper to create one-of-a-kind art prints for your home. Fill a paper snack cup with clean tap water. Liberally wet the watercolor pigments in the case with paint brushes to activate the paint.
Use a plastic paint palette (or the underside of the plastic paint tray cover itself) to mix pigments into custom colors. Brush each color on a clean sheet of watercolor paper in rough block shapes to see how your colors coordinate with one another. Make sure to have paper towels handy to clean your paint brush between colors!
To avoid a finished art print that looks buckled and wrinkled, you need to stretch your watercolor paper first. Do so by wetting the entire surface of each sheet of paper with a damp sponge, then allow each to dry. Next, cover your stretched paper with abstract designs using a watercolor paint brush and the paint you mixed in Step 2.

Allow the finished watercolor art prints to dry for several hours before handling.
