Cover the bulletin board using a Fadeless Art Black Paper Roll. I love to use this paper because it looks great all year long! Make sure to "push" out any bubbles prior to stapling as best as possible. Layer your favorite borders on top of the black paper using a stapler. I decided to use the Loop-De- Loop, Pink Polka Dots, Green Polk Dots, and the Black and White Gingham Borders. My board is fairly large and using four borders worked well. If your board is smaller, I would pick two to three borders.

Now it's time to add paper fans! I love to layer fans at the top to add an extra element and focus point. Layering fans also helps take up space on a large board! I used paper fans in White, Lime Green, and Candy Pink. I always start off by placing the largest fans on the board first. Then, I fill in with smaller fans until I think it looks complete. If you plan to use fans across the top of your board, there is no reason to add borders on the top. The fans will just cover them up!

Print out the free bulletin board letters here. Cut out each letter and attach to the bulletin board using a stapler. I always find it difficult to line up bulletin board letters straight, so I always stagger the letters!

Using a Black Sharpie, write students' names on Watermelon Cutouts. It works best to wait a few minutes prior to retracing the name to make it darker.

Add the final touches to the board by attaching the Watermelon Cutouts with a stapler. For a more personalized board, you could also attach a student photo to each Watermelon Cutout.

Now that the board is finished, complete the look by decorating tables or desks with watermelon themed treats! Students will love to receive a Watermelon-Scented Bookmark, Frosted Watermelon Wedge Lollipop, or Watermelon Taffy Candy. Print out the free gift labels here. Attach to the item of choice using Washi Tape or Baker's Twine.
