If there’s one thing that is essential on a hot summer day, it’s something to keep yourself cool! You’ll definitely want to keep your guests in mind if you’re planning an outdoor wedding during the warmer months of the year. Whether that’s serving them a refreshing beverage or giving them a fan to keep themselves cool. But what’s better than just a regular fan? A fan that serves two purposes! I created this free printable wedding fan program design that you can download and customize for your own big day to help your guests beat the heat and keep up with the order of your ceremony. Check out what you’ll need and how to make this chic project below!
Download the printable file, open in Microsoft Word and enter in your personal information for your wedding ceremony. In the program are: cover, a list of wedding party participants, ceremony, and a thank you note. Do both the left and right sides, as there are multiple pieces per page so you’ll use less paper. Once you’ve customized your program, print your program fans. Use your paper trimmer and scissors to cut out each of the “petals” for your wedding program.

Once they are cut out, place the pages in order and use a hole punch to cut a hole in the bottom of the program. Then, take your black and white stripe ribbon and cut an 8 inch long piece.
Fold your ribbon in half and cut a triangle shape to make a decorate edge. Then, thread your ribbon through the hole you punched in your program.
Slide the tails of your ribbon through the loop and pull until tight. You should get a knot on the front of your program, that still allows for you to “fan” out the petals!
Repeat until all of your programs are done! These looks super adorable and your guests will appreciate this double-duty project. They’ll be able to keep themselves a little cooler while also enjoying your ceremony!
