Creating a party banner is a simple and affordable way to bring in a bit of customized decor to your party without breaking the bank! We used a few White Canvas Banner Pennants and made our very own "Wild Thing" banner for our recent Where the Wild Things Are Birthday Party. It served as the perfect detail draped across the front of our dessert table or could be used a part of your party backdrop!
Begin by tracing the bottom quarter of one of the DIY White Canvas Banner Pennants onto the Metallic Gold Gossamer 9 times and then cut out each shape. This will serve as trim on our banner pennants.
Freehand draw or use stencils to spell out the phrase "wild thing". If you're using a stencil, center it on the Pennant, staying above the Gold Gossamer trim, and stencil in the letters with Black Acrylic Paint. Allow to dry.
Hang the 2 banners onto the front of your table. Intertwine a Bamboo Garland on each banner for a little jungle detail!
