This witchy things wreath features a creepy collection of treacherously terrible decorative elements, perfect for your haunted Halloween front porch decor or home decorating. Potion bottles with poison charms, loads of creepy cloth, and creative accents like a realistic looking frog skeleton make this dark decorating accessory a preposterously perfect piece to add to your Halloween decorating collection.
Wrap the creepy cloth around the foam wreath core, to conceal the white color. Use push pin spiders to secure about every 6 in., or as needed.
Lay out your design on the wreath to decide where the items will be placed. Do not attach anything, but you may want to take a quick snapshot for reference when you are ready to start attaching decor.
Using acrylic paints and a paint brush, coat the glass craft bottles in different shades of paint. Use a sponge brush to add aging, drips and distressing to the bottles to give them a spooky look.
When the bottles are dry, use thin wire to attach poison charms to the neck of each bottle. Leave enough wire to attach the bottle to the wreath later.
Using glitter glue and fine glitter in Halloween colors, add glue, then glitter to potion bottles. Shake well to adhere glitter to the insides, coating thoroughly.
It’s time to attach the decorations to the wreath. Use the wire to attach the bottles, then use glue to adhere the more lightweight items. Black roses with eyeballs should be separated from their stems, adhering only the flower heads. If the eyeballs are not easily viewed, you can glue back a petal or two, to reveal the eerie peepers.
