The personalization I got was printed not carved. I didn't like it. The personalization itself was terrible and had a really bad printing quality :( I bought these for a adults party but I couldn't give them away.

do not buy
The printing is too small- you cannot read it. It is printed in a different color and you still can't read it. Looked great in the picture but poor quality on arrival. Not sure how I can fix this. Will not order again.

I got these for my wedding. The writing on the pencils was hard to read. The pencils did not come sharpened.

Custom Printing was Crooked
These are pencils used in my business, and had to be thrown away because the printing was crooked, at a very noticeable 3 to 5 degree tilt - it looked like a child made them.
Have ordered dozens of similar orders, so this was an unpleasant surprise, to say the least.
Very disappointed.

Orange not bright on purple pencils
It takes multiple sharpenings for the lead to not simply fall apart/out of the sharpened pencil. Sadly the orange writing on purple is difficult to see. Good to know, for next time. The white writing on black pencils is great!

Not as shown in picture
The product picture of the pencils shows text embossed in gold into the pencil. However, upon ordering and receiving, I discovered the customized text is just digitally printed in white on the surface of the pencil. It's harder to read and looks very cheap. I'm disappointed with this purchase and Oriental Trading needs to make sure their product images match the actual product!

The photo makes it look like they are engraved or stamped in a gold color. Mine came with TINY white printing that is fuzzy and hard to read. It looks like it is rubbing off. I ordered a bunch of customized pencils to make sets but the printing method and quality on each different color was so varied that they look messy together.
