I bought this thinking it would be a light blue. It is actually rather dark, and turquoise in color.
The sand is fine, just doesnt match my theme.
Price and quality fine.

Not Quite as Florescent
I ordered this for my wedding unity ceremony because my colors are lavender and sage. I anticipated it being brighter so I ordered a darker purple but it's not as bright and fluorescent as I imagined.

Very beachy
We mixed the brown sand with white sand and got a great, soft natural beach look. The children painted glue on their craft photo frames and then sprinkled on the sand, before gluing on seashells. What a fun craft for a beach-themed VBS.
