Smells like gasoline
I ordered these as a Valentine’s Day treat for my sons Cub Scout Den. When they arrived and I opened them they smelled awful. A very strong smell like gasoline. At this price I wasn’t expecting them to be high quality, just fun for scouts, but the smell was horrible.

Looks Impressive
The clip is a good quality. They look really nice. None where damaged when they arrived either. I'm sure kids will enjoy them.

Wasted money
So I threw a scavenger hunt party and purchased 3 bags (36) of this for children. Most of these compasses doesnt point the right direction and we were unable to use them for the party. Still have them sitting in the garage! Total waste of $$$ & Very disappointed!

Kids will love, but they smell
I purchased these to go in goodie bags for 4-6 year olds. They are a good size and seem very cool. They are well made and work. My biggest issue is that they smell awful! I've had them airing out for a few weeks and there is little change. I may try Lysol.

Not Worth It
Unfortunately this item looks much better in the picture than in person. It really is a toy . I thought due to the price it would be a good toy but no. I returned it-although I had to pay for the shipping cost. Very disapointing

These are much bigger than I was anticipating. The compasses work but aren't too quality. Perfect for a party favor bag.

  • BEST ANSWER: For the most part, they work. They are a bit wobbly, though and some work better than others. I wouldn't trust it to get you home if you are lost. ;-)
