Let's begin by painting the beads. Here's a tip: to easily paint the wood beads, use a tiny drop of hot glue to lightly secure each of the Round Unfinished Wood Beads to a bamboo skewer. This makes it easy to paint all sides of the beads.

Use a Sponge Paintbrush or a flat-bristled paintbrush and acrylic paint to dry brush paint a DIY Wood Slat Sign. To achieve the dry brush look, lightly dip your paintbrush into the paint and lightly swipe the paintbrush over the wood surface without adding more paint to the brush. Repeat this process until there is no more paint on the brush. Having the wood show through the paint is the look you want to achieve.

To do the printed image transfer technique, apply a thin layer of Matte Mod Podge over the areas you will be applying the images. Don't forget to download the free printable bunny sign template here. While the Mod Podge® is still wet, place the printables print side down onto the sign, and rub the image into the wood using a Wood Craft Stick. Allow the printed images to dry for 24 hours.
