Food and beverage bars are one of our favorite ongoing trends for weddings. It always adds a personal touch when the bride and groom can add some of their favorite snacks or drinks for their close friends and family to enjoy. When planning our Buffalo Plaid Winter Wedding, we knew we wanted to have a hot chocolate bar be a part of our event, but not just any hot chocolate bar! We wanted a boozy hot chocolate bar, perfect for warming you up on those chilly, winter wedding nights. Find out how we incorporated rustic wood decor along with buffalo plaid elements to create the perfect boozy beverage station!

Start by styling your boozy hot chocolate bar with the largest piece of serving ware; the Buffalo Plaid Tiered Serving Set. This was one of our favorite buffalo plaid pieces. We centered this on the table so it could showcase three of our feature alcoholic hot chocolates. Having the three different tiers allowed each beverage to shine on its own.

Showcase the featured cocktail on the top tier of the Buffalo Plaid Tiered Serving Set. We served our decadent Red Wine Hot Chocolate in Classic Champagne Glasses. Each variety of hot chocolate was named using Buffalo Plaid Chalkboard Table Signs; a must-have when showcasing a variety of similar drinks.

We added a Rumchata hot chocolate to the second tier and served them in Plastic Martini Glasses.

The bottom tier held Tiny Pedestal Clear Cups full of Irish hot chocolate. We hot glued cute Stag Brads for an extra thematic touch.

We flanked both sides of the hot chocolate table with these elegant Silver 2-Tiered Metal Servers. The bottom tier held more of our Irish hot chocolates while the top tier housed white chocolate dipped marshmallows; which were a delicious addition to all of out hot chocolates.

We added some faux, white fur trim to some Buffalo Plaid Insulated Coffee Cups and filled them with our favorite Kahlua hot chocolate. Adding in the bit of fur created a fabulous wintry texture we just adored.

We fell in love with the Buffalo Plaid Flask and decided to customize it with the lyric "baby it's cold outside". Adding vinyl lettering to your decor items is a great way to add a personal touch without breaking the bank.

Lastly we decorated the Buffalo Plaid Fabric Pennant Garland with some vinyl snowflakes and the words "I do" to add a sweet bridal touch to the table. All of these buffalo plaid details made our DIY Boozy Hot Chocolate Bar dreams and we can't wait for you to style your own!
