It just wouldn't be Easter without an adorable bunny-themed treat! These chocolate bunny jars are filled with Easter grass, mini carrots and the cutest bunny themed treats. At the end of the fun, kids will hippity-hop for joy when they see these sweet jars filled with surprises. And the best part? It's a cinch to make several at a time.
First, fill 1/4 of a Short Jar with Colorful Easter Grass. Next, add a Chocolate Easter Bunny Rubber Ducky to the jar, I love the ones that are missing one ear! You could also add a Large Chocolate Bunny Scented Slow-Rising Squishy since they fit inside perfectly.
Cut half of the green ribbon off a Glitter Foam Carrot, leaving two small "stalks". Take the excess piece of ribbon and poke it into the top of the carrot to create two additional stalks and giving the carrot top a fuller look.
Use a hole punch to cut a 1" circle out of pink card stock then cut a paper straw in half and glue the straw to the back of the circle to create a small sign.
Next, use a chalk marker to write "what?" on the small sign, after all a bunny without an ear is hard of hearing!
Add a tasty treat to the jar like a Palmer® Chocolate Bunny.
Spray paint the lids of the Short Jars. I chose a yellow and pale blue for my tops to match the ribbons on the bunnies.
Next, cut the Chocolate Bunny-Shaped Plastic Easter Eggs in half, removing the backs.
Glue the bunny halves to the painted tops of the short jars.
Use the finished favor jars as part of your dessert table display and give to guests as they depart.
