This colorful bat wreath is a hip and fun twist on a classic Halloween decoration! The bright colored cardstock bat shapes look amazing against the black and white striped background of the wreath. Using an electronic paper cutter, or the download the Free Bat Printable Template here, cut out several paper bats. Use bright colorful cardstock colors: pink, blue, yellow, orange and black. Cut at least a dozen, with a mixture of sizes between 2 in. to 6 in. in length.
Wrap black and and white striped ribbon around a medium foam wreath form. This is so easy and fun and makes an adorable black and white wreath base for halloween.
Fold the colorful bat pieces slightly in the center of each bat.
Use straight pins to attach the bats to the wreath form. Add bats on one side of the wreath, mixing in bats with different colors and sizes. Layer the bats on one another in a staggered pattern. Try adding bats in opposite directions.
Place your new Bat Wreath on a mantel, mirror or on a wall. Add in some furry feathered bat friends for a whimsical Halloween touch!
